The Hudson Flower Shop will celebrate 70 years in business on Locust Street this weekend . This picture was taken in 1948, around the time Harriet and John Christiansen took over the business from a Mr. Johnson who started it just after the war. There will be an open house to mark the anniversary on Friday and Saturday. There will be refreshments, prizes and sales.
