Realty agents Cindy Otten and Laurie Larsen are making the best of a bad situation. With dozens of repossessed homes on the market because of the mortgage meltdown, Otten and Larsen have found a niche in selling them.

Atlanta-based Home Depot announced last that it will close 15 stores across the nation that are “underperforming” and “do not meet the company’s targeted returns.”

The Anderson family is celebrating 25 years of owning and operating Micklesen Drug store. Lyle and Clara Lou Anderson bought the quintessential small-town pharmacy from Bob Ochs and took over the operation on June 1, 1983.
