Hudson ICA team honored
Investment Centers of America recognized the efforts of Bryan Godtland, Randy Penkwitz, Chris Reisdorf, Debby Wood, Laura Pope and more than 100 of their fellow representatives at the company's national conference in Clearwater, Fla., Feb. 27-March 2. Attendees shared strategies for developing effective solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.

Company earns honor
Eagle Packaging Inc. announced the achievement of ISO 9001:2000 certification from Perry Johnson Registrars Inc. Eagle Packaging's quality management system is documented for each process according to the international standard. Eagle Packaging is located in the St. Croix Business Park and offers a variety of services to add value to a customer's supply chain. Gary and Kathy Benson founded the company in 1993 and relocated to Hudson in 2000.
Business financing available
St. Croix EDC and the Regional Business Fund Inc. are holding a workshop from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at Hudson City Hall, 505 Third St., to introduce a new supplemental financing program available to businesses in west central Wisconsin. The program provides 4 percent loans to businesses for a variety of purposes. Wellness group starts
The Wellness Networking Group is designed to help wellness related-businesses or practitioners come together and share what they do. The group is also open to community members wanting to learn more about wellness options available in the Hudson area. The group is sponsored by www.wisconsinwellnessdirectory.com, an online resource with a mission to educate the public on holistic options for health and wellness. Meetings are the third Tuesday of every month from noon-1 p.m. at the Hudson Wellness Center. The speaker at the March meeting is chiropractor Jaime Blechschmidt.
