3M donates on retiree's behalf

The 3M Foundation has donated $1,600 to Adoray Home Health and Hospice in recognition of several employees and retirees' volunteer service to the organization: Gary Baribeau, Donald Hale and Linda Proch, Hudson; Margaret Blum, Roberts; Michael Hamerski, Baldwin; Diane Kircher, Hammond; Jim Nelson, Woodville; and Helen Rosen, Glenwood City.

Current and retired 3M employees qualify for the 3M volunteer match by donating 25 hours or more per calendar year. Adoray volunteers sit with and read to hospice patients, help with office tasks or provide customer service at Treasures from the Heart, Baldwin and River Falls, to raise funds for Adoray's hospice and home health programs. Adoray is a not-for-profit program of St. Croix Valley Shared Services, Inc., owned by the four hospitals in St. Croix County including Baldwin Area Medical Center, Hudson Hospital, River Falls Area Hospital and Westfields Hospital, New Richmond.

Trikin Home Theater, 2015 O'Neil Road, an electronic systems design and installation firm, will be featured in the May issue of Electronic House magazine for its work in a Home of the Year. The issue, which was on the newsstands May 1, showcases 40 Home of the Year award honorees whose electronics installations exemplify the enhancements an electronic lifestyle can provide homeowners. Two elected to HH board

The Hudson Hospital board has elected new members Susan Gilbert, a consultant, and Michael Sellman of Sellman Consulting Service. For over 50 years, Hudson Hospital has been governed by its board of directors, comprised of volunteer community members including hospital, health care and business professionals. They help shape health care policy and work to ensure delivery of effective programs and service.
