'Daddy/Daughter Dance' set for March 17
Dress in your best for a night to remember as Hudson Community Education hosts Hudson's second annual "Daddy/Daughter Dance" 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Hudson Middle School.
Open to pre-K through fifth-grade girls and the special men in their lives (dad, grandpa, uncle, father-figure, etc.), this evening includes a live DJ, dancing, dessert, crafts, a keepsake professional photo and priceless memories.
Local DJ Showtime Entertainment will keep the dance floor rockin' with hits from both dads' and daughters' generations and crowd favorites like the "Hokey Pokey," "Chicken Dance," "Electric Slide" and the "Limbo."
A professional keepsake photo is included in the registration fee from Hudson photographer Marnie Marie.
"We were happy with the success of our the past 'Daddy/Daughter Dances,' and look forward to offering this heartwarming event again this year," said Betsy Ganz, Community Education program specialist. "It is a wonderful opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their daughters."
The cost is $25 per couple and $5 for each additional daughter. Space is limited, so organizers encourage attendees to register early. Register online by Monday, March 5. Visit hudsonraiders.org and click "FeePay" to register. Nonperishable food donations will be collected at the event to support the Hudson Area Food Shelf.
