Discover the best of area businesses at the 16th annual Spring Showcase on Sunday, March 18, at the Hudson Sports and Civic Center. The Spring Showcase is your opportunity to visit area businesses in one location. In addition, take a chance on a raffle to win big while enjoying a variety of fun, family activities. Admission and activities are free of cost.

Explore the mysteries of chemistry, air pressure, sound and music, and the science of the ultra-cold with the amazing 3M Visiting Wizards from 11 a.m. to noon.

Using exciting interactive activities, the 3M Visiting Wizards will bring their special style of STEM discovery to wow young visitors. It's a hands-on educational interaction ranging from catapults, to crime mystery experiments, creating slime, cryogenics, and unmasking the secrets of color and light.

In addition, bring your princess or galactic hero to the Spring Showcase stage to learn a few steps while dancing at a ball or protecting the galaxy. Occasions with Character LLC will be on-site to meet and greet with a few princesses and heroes of their own at 12:30 p.m.

The Expo floor will host pirates as well. If you don't have a sword to practice your galactic swing, these friendly fiends will tie you a balloon sword.

Business mascots take to the stage for the fourth annual Mascot Dance-Off at 1 p.m. These friendly fast-footers will bust a move and show their stuff in an effort to earn the coveted Dance-Off trophy.

Welcome back is the local singing talent of the SHAMrocks at of St. Patrick's School at noon and Hudson High School's High Harmony at 2:30 p.m. and the Swing Choir at 2 p.m.

A few raptors and interesting critters will wrap-up the final act with an educational presentation by Carpenter Nature Center at 3 p.m.

The Spring Showcase is presented by the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau.
