Pepper Fest grant applications being accepted
The Pepper Fest Board is now accepting grant applications from local groups and organizations! Pepper Fest began in 1954 as a way to raise funds to build North Hudson Elementary School and has turned into an annual event to assist community organizations throughout the St. Croix Valley. Proceeds from the volunteer-run, non-profit festival are donated to local youth, school, community and service organizations.
Organizations may fill out the form online atwww.pepperfest.org/grants or may mail to: Pepper Fest Grant Committee, PO Box 432 - Hudson WI 54016.
All grant requests must be received by Aug. 31.
Grant requests must contain contact information for the group or organization, information about the group or organization, the amount being requested, and the specific use(s) the grant money will go towards. Grants are distributed during the Pepper Festival Annual Meeting and Appreciation Dinner following the festival, typically held in October or November. Those receiving grants will be notified prior to the Appreciation Dinner.
