Hudson High School Homecoming is this week

Hudson High School's homecoming celebration culminates Friday night, Sept. 24 with the Raiders taking on the Rice Lake Warriors at Newton Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.following the homecoming queen coronation.

Events this year include:

  • School-wide pep fest Friday at 1:30 p.m.
  • Homecoming parade Friday at 3:30 p.m. in downtown Hudson led by grand marshal Michael Cassutt, class of 1972 and 2010 HHS distinguished alumnus
  • Queen coronation before Friday's game at 6:15 p.m.

    The Homecoming dance and bonfire will follow the game.

    The parade will start at 3:30 p.m. at 911 Fourth St., the former location of the public library, and continue south on Second Street and will include a variety of floats and members of the HHS football squad and other athletic teams. A map of the parade route appears in this week's Star-Observer.
