Daybreak Rotary November Students of the Month
Hudson Daybreak Rotary Club is proud to award the November Students of the Month to Kristin Fischer and Elijah Rude for their outstanding contribution to academics, extra-curricular activities and community service.
Kristin Fischer is a senior at Hudson High School. She is the daughter of Brian and Sara Fischer. She has one sister, Leah, who is a second grader at Willow River and one brother, Kevin, who is studying computer science at UW Madison.

Fischer has also started up and manages a brand new community garden for the United Way where they have grown spinach and radishes to be given to the 13 area food shelves.
In FFA, she has served as the chapter reporter this year, for which she created a new website, organized and led committees, and managed the writing of newspaper articles.
She is currently undecided about which college to attend, but plans on studying environmental sciences.
Elijah Rude is also a senior at Hudson High Schoo. He is the son of Ken and Shelly Rude. He has lived in Hudson for 14 years. He has one sister and two brothers, along with a niece and nephew.
Throughout his high school career, Rude has been a member of the hockey, football and baseball teams. He also described going through the TEC youth program as "very impactful."
He is undecided as to the college he will attend, but hopes to be playing baseball while studying Kinesiology.
