$1 million bail set for downtown shooting suspect
One of two men charged with multiple counts of attempted homicide in a shooting incident Jan. 19 in Hudson has been ordered to post $1 million cash bail.
Guled Bile Abdi, 23, Minneapolis, waived extradition from Minnesota and appeared in St. Croix County Circuit Court Monday, Feb. 3, before Judge Eric J. Lundell.
The second suspect, Ahmed Farah Hirsi, 26, also of Minneapolis, is currently in custody in Chisago County, Minn., where he is also facing charges. He is fighting extradition to St. Croix County.
Both men face multiple counts of first degree intentional homicide and endangering safety here, 15 felony charges each in total.
The two are accused of shooting three people including a woman who was critically injured around 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot outside of the Spirit Seller.
The suspects fled the scene but were apprehended by police near the Mall of America within a short time of the shooting.
