The way the brackets played out, Hudson had to play five games on Sunday while the tournament champion River Falls played only three. Hudson went 2-2 against River Falls, 2-0 against New Richmond and 1-0 against Menomonie.

Two girls, Heather Hendricks and Maddie Letcher, from the Booster Recreational Program, filled in for Katy Fox and Brooke Little while they were off on their class trip. Jordan Petersen and MacKenzie Uecker both made multiple nice running catches in the outfield. Lauren Petersen started an inning-ending double play, getting Hudson out of a bases-loaded situation.

Marlee Haroldson played great at third base and catcher all weekend while Melissa Schaar laid down a walkoff bunt single, scoring Kendra Little with the only run in a 1-0 win over Menomonie and getting the team into the championship games.

Meghan Eisenmann, the team's leadoff batter, did a great job catching and playing center field all weekend while Alex Johnson and Katie Berg were voted by the opposing coaches onto the All Tournament team.

The team currently has 21-7-2 record for the season.
