Amos M. "Buck" Schultz, 49";
Amos Michael "Buck" Schultz, 49, died in his home in Lakeland, Minn., on Nov. 3, from complications of diabetes.
Buck was a member of I.A.M. and employed by Northwest Airlines for 22 years before joining Delta Airlines in 2008. He graduated from Stillwater High School and attended technical college in Wauseca, Minn. Born in January 1964, he grew up on the family farm in Stillwater and maintained a love of the land throughout his life. He found a way to enjoy that land even in depths of winter as an avid snowmobiler.
Buck is survived by his longtime partner Kristi McFarland of Lakeland, Minn.; his father, Amos W. Schultz of Stillwater; brothers Will Schultz, West Lakeland; Tom (Julie) Schultz, Lakeland, Dan (Sylvia), Maggie Valley, N. C.; sisters, Mary Carol (Dave) Anderson of Hudson, Kathy Schultz (Bob) Soronen of Anchorage, Alaska, and Meg (Kevin) Heaton of Hudson; as well as 12 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Schultz; and his older brother Michael W. Schultz.
A service is planned for 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., in Stillwater.
Memorials are preferred.
