Preparations have begun for the 15th annual indoor Easter Egg Hunt, to be held Saturday, March 30, from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Hudson Middle School.

Hundreds of prizes are given away to children of all ages who leave with bags or baskets full of Easter eggs, prizes, and candy. More than 2,500 individuals participated in last year's event.

Every year approximately 12,000 eggs are stuffed with up to 1,000 pounds of candy. Five different age-related hunts for children, ranging in age from infants to 12 years old are held. There are grand prizes and 75 golden egg prizes, which range between $5 and $10, given away. No admission is charged, but participants are asked to bring a donation for the local food shelf so families.

Harvestime Outreach church will be partnering with Christ Center Assembly in sponsoring this event this year.

Booster Hunt

The annual Hudson Booster Easter Egg hunt is set for Saturday, March 20, beginning at 1 p.m. at Prospect Park. The hunt is for youths 9 and under and features candy, stuffed animals and other prizes, including eight bikes (four in each age group).

The hunt will feature two age groups, 4 and under and 5-9. Parents are reminded to get tickets from Booster representatives for various prizes.
