Badger corner to have second knee surgery today
Badger corner Aaron Henry will have a second knee operation today (Friday).
University of Wisconsin Head Football Coach Bret Bielema said Henry re-tore an ACL knee ligament that was first torn last December when the Badgers practiced for the Outback Bowl.
Bielema said an MRI uncovered new damage and Henry is expected to sit out 2-4 weeks.
It's possible the sophomore would take a red-shirt and miss the season, but Bielema says the plan now is to rehab the knee, and get Henry ready to play as soon as possible.
Henry played in 12 games for Wisconsin last season and started two.
Meanwhile, senior quarterback Allan Evridge returned to practice Thursday, but he did limited work as he gets over a hamstring injury.
