Badger men back in the top 25

The Wisconsin men's basketball team is back in the national Top 25.

The Badgers are 23rd in this week's Associated Press media poll - and they're four spots away from the Top 25 in the USA Today-ESPN coaches' poll.

Wisconsin spent one week in the polls earlier this month after upsetting Duke.

Bo Ryan's Badgers are now 10-2 as they get ready to host Ohio State on New Year's Eve.

Kansas remains at number one in both polls. But the big news in the AP poll comes from Evanston, Ill., where Northwestern earned its first ranking in 40 years.

The Wildcats are 25th after a 10-1 start. But they didn't make the coaches' poll. They're five spots away from the Top 25 there.
