Senior tri-captain Blake Geoffrion will return, after getting a concussion in Wisconsin's opener last Friday night. Minnesota State is 2-2, and is coming off a pair of losses at Minnesota-Duluth. The Badgers went 2-1-1 against the Mavericks last season.

Meanwhile, the Badger women will host Ohio State the next two nights.

Fifth-ranked Wisconsin had last weekend off, after going 3-1 to start the season, all in WCHA conference play. Ohio State is 1-2-1 in the league and 1-2-3 overall.

The Badgers have a 21-game unbeaten streak against the Buckeyes.
