Badgers lead Big Ten in both rushing offense and defense
The Wisconsin football team has some great rushing numbers going into Saturday's game at Indiana.
The Badgers lead the Big Ten with 192 yards on the ground in conference games and they're tops in holding opposing rushers to just 74 yards in those contests.
Only the 1951 Badgers led the Big Ten in both rushing offense and defense for a full season.
The last time it was done in the conference was by Ohio State back in 1956.
Quarterback Scott Tolzien's numbers look pretty good, too. He has completed 62.5 percent of his passes.
And if that pace continues, the junior will have the third best throwing percentage ever at Wisconsin.
Darrell Bevell has the two highest marks - 67.8 percent in 1993, and 65 percent two years later.
The Badgers are 6-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
They'll face an Indiana squad that's 1-4 in the Big Ten, and 4-5 overall.
