Several University of Wisconsin injured defensive linemen are healing just in time for Saturday's season opener against Akron at Camp Randall Stadium.

Starting tackle Jason Chapman says he has fully recovered from a knee injury.

Defensive end Matt Shaughnessy says he's good-to-go after suffering a broken fibula.

Badgers' assistant Charlie Patridge says starting tackle Mike Newkirk should also be ready for the Akron contest, along with starting end O'Brien Schofield, back-up ends Brendan Kelly, Louis Nzegwu, and Dan Moore, and reserve tackle Jeff Stehle.

Sophomore end Kirk DeCremer has missed a lot of practice time with a sore back and Patridge says he'll be used as a situational pass rusher.
