Barnett completes prosecution agreement in night club incident
Green Bay Packers' linebacker Nick Barnett has completed a deferred prosecution agreement so he won't be criminally convicted in an incident at an Appleton night club last summer.
Barnett was first charged with disorderly conduct, but he agreed to stay clean in exchange for having his conviction reduced to a civil charge.
As a result, he paid a fine and court costs of just over $750.
Police said Barnett knocked drinks from two women and threw one of their cell phones against a wall at the Wet night club last June. About 45 minutes later, police say Barnett threw a drink in one of the women's faces and knocked her to the floor.
