Benefit for Abby Doonan this Saturday
A benefit for Abigail Doonan, 22, who was diagnosed with Classical Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Stage 4B, will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at The Village Inn in North Hudson. The benefit includes BBQ pulled pork, a raffle from noon-4 p.m., live auction, kids station with face painting, pumpkin painting and treat bag with cookies and juice. Auction/raffle items include a quarter of a beef, Packer football 2012 signed by the team, Rejuvenate skin and laser clinic; Minnesota Wild tickets, Delta Airline ticket, gift cards and baskets.
Three live bands will perform: noon-1 p.m. Darren Caster; 1-4 p.m. Christy Sperling; 4-5 p.m. Dang Ol’triole.
Abby, daughter of Jeff Doonan and Cathy Gunsallus of Hudson, had no insurance when she was diagnosed in May of 2013.
