ABC will televise at least two University of Wisconsin football games this fall - including a prime-time Big Ten opener.

The Badgers say their Sept. 22 home contest against Iowa will start at 7 p.m.

ABC will also show the Oct. 13 Wisconsin game at Penn State at 2:30 p.m.

Also, the Badgers' homecoming game against Indiana Oct. 27 will start at 11 a.m., but it is not yet known where it will be seen.

Badger fans will see fewer games on TV this season, because the new Big Ten Network will have the option of showing a large share of contests featuring all 11 conference schools and those not picked won't get televised, unless a major network picks them up.

Also, negotiations are still continuing with the state's major cable providers to put the new channel on their systems.
