Braun continues to lead outfielders in fan voting for All-Star game
Milwaukee's Ryan Braun continues to lead all National League outfielders in the fan voting for the All-Star Game.
Braun has the league's third-highest vote total so far, with almost 909,000.
St. Louis first baseman Albert Pujols is the top vote-getter with $1.2 million.
Philadelphia second baseman Chase Utley has just more than 1.1 million. Brewers' shortstop J.J. Hardy fell from first place to third during the last week in the fan voting at that position.
First baseman Prince Fielder and catcher Jason Kendall remain second at their positions.
Voting continues both at Miller Park and on the Internet at Brewers.com and MLB.com.
The voting ends July 2. The Major League All-Star Game will be played on July 14 in St. Louis.
