Bucks open season at Chicago; Skiles first return to windy city
The Milwaukee Bucks will open their NBA regular season Oct. 28 in Chicago.
New Bucks' coach Scott Skiles will return to the United Center for the first time since the Bulls fired him last Christmas Eve.
Jim Boylan replaced Skiles for the rest of the season and he'll return as a Milwaukee assistant.
It also marks the debut of Bulls' coach Vinny Del Negro, a former Bucks' player. One of his new assistants is former Milwaukee coach Del Harris.
Skiles says his new team will have a big test on opening night. In fact, they'll have a lot of big tests early, as the Bucks play 20 of their first 33 games in the road.
They'll also be the opposition for Oklahoma City's debut. That's the team which moved from Seattle a few weeks ago.
Milwaukee will play its home opener on Saturday, Nov. 1 against Toronto. Kobe Bryant and the Lakers will make their only Bradley Center appearance on Apr. 1.
