Members of the support group will meet in the Hudson Hospital lobby and then car pool to Thunder Willow Community Arts at 1615 Maxwell Drive (next to Curves). Participants will learn how to make garden stepping stones; instruction and materials will be provided at a reduced fee of $20 each. All area cancer survivors and caregivers are welcome to participate.

Participants can choose to make a "memory stone" for the Cancer Victory Garden or a stepping stone to take home. The first-ever Cancer Victory Garden is located in the Hudson Hospital & Clinics Community Gardens behind the hospital. Volunteers have planted vegetables, flowers and installed a resting bench in this "Garden of Hope."

The Cancer Education & Support Group of Hudson typically meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. on the 2nd floor conference room of the Hudson Clinic to share experiences, resources and get cancer-related information. All are welcome.

Anyone who would like to make a garden stone or want more information about the Cancer Support Group, call Ann at Hudson Hospital & Clinics, (715) 531-6191.
