A semi- and a straight truck overtake a St. Croix County snowplow operating near Milepost 8 eastbound, about 30 minutes before another St. Croix County maintenance truck was struck near Baldwin. The area received about three inches of snow between 8 and 10 a.m., Monday.

Car gets worst of it in vehicle-snowplow crash

A motorist who collided with a St. Croix County Highway Department plow near Baldwin late Monday morning wasn't believed seriously injured but a sheriff's dispatcher described the vehicle as "heavily damaged".

The crash occurred around noon, near the Baldwin exit on I-94 westbound.

Jim Krizan, Patrol Superintendent with the department, said the plow driver was traveling westbound about 35-40 mph along the shoulder when his rig was side-swiped by a westbound car.
