Care facility director faces trial
River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

The director of a Hudson care facility will face trial on a felony sexual assault charge.

Judge Howard W. Cameron determined probable cause existed that a crime had been committed. On Friday, he bound over for trial Carolyn Ann Lopez, 30, 494 Prairie Lane, Hudson, on one count of second-degree sexual assault in a treatment facility.

An arraignment hearing was set for Dec. 23 when Lopez, executive director of Heartview Inc., 490B Prairie Lane, Hudson, will enter a plea to the charge.

The criminal complaint alleged that between April 21 and Sept. 30, Lopez had intercourse with a 56-year-old male resident of Heartview on several occasions. She denied to investigators that she had sex with the man, but said she kissed him twice.

Court records said the alleged victim was diagnosed with mental illness and chemical dependency problems.
