Erin Bloomer of Hudson is Fern, the little girl who refuses to allow her father, played by Stephen Dahle of Hudson, to kill the small, runt pig.

Erin Maher and Wyatt Opelt of Hudson play Martha, Fern's mother and Avery, Fern's annoying brother. Kari Pelzel, Max Malanaphy and Kyle Featherstone, all of Hudson, play the neighbors who own the barn where Wilbur finds a new home.

The Zuckerman barn is where Wilbur meets his new farmyard friends, the sheep and her little lamb, played by Amanda Chial of Stillwater and Tess Babbitt of Hudson, as well as the goose and the gander, played by Alicen Evans of Prescott and Zachary Helmen of Hudson.

Templeton the rat, the owl and the bat, played by Michael Adrian of Stillwater, Heather Nordby of Woodbury, and Kate Keller of Hudson, complete the cast of farmyard friends.
