City of Hudson declares snowplowing event
The city of Hudson on Tuesday, Jan. 14, declared a snowplowing event requiring all non-permitted vehicles to be removed from city streets, except for downtown metered and painted parking spaces.
Motorists are prohibited from parking on city streets until they have been cleared of snow from curb to curb.
The penality for the first violation of the city's winter parking rules is a $25 forfeiture. The second violation brings a $50 forfeiture. On the third violation, the vehicle is towed at the owner's expense and another $50 ticket is issued.
