Clarifies two points

Dear Editor,

We would like to take this time to acknowledge Margaret (Ontl) and the paper for the beautiful article and pictures of our home. It was very nice to have her visit us this holiday season.

The quilt in the picture was made for me by my sister-in-law Joan Miller and not by one of my daughters. Also I am a "Richie" from North Hudson not "Ricci."

I love all the holidays and do decorate for all of them. My favorite one is Thanksgiving because I get to celebrate that holiday 365 days a year. In some of my darkest days, I can always find some little thing to thank God for.

Ron and I have been married for 57 years and there have been ups and downs. But you young married couples, it is worth it. Look at us, it took me 57 years to train him to be almost perfect.

I know we are in hard times with job losses and all. But this holiday season I would like to share this saying:

God may say "Wait but He never says worry."

Don't worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace. Phil. 4:6-7.

I want to wish all a Happy and Holy Holiday Season.

God bless all of you.
