Collect pop tabs for peace
As part of the Holocaust unit in modern world history, Hudson High School students are again collecting pop tabs for the 7th Annual "Pop Tabs for Peace" event. With each pop tab representing 100 victims, students will try and visualize the magnitude of the Holocaust through this activity. All pop tabs are then donated to local charities.
During the past six years, over 665,000 pop tabs have been collected. This year's goal is to obtain 100,000 pop tabs.
The last day for this year's collection is Friday, May 28.
Donated pop tabs can be dropped off in Matthew Friedl's classroom (room 234). For more information, contact Friedl at (715) 377-3800 ext. 6234 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
