Congressman Duffy celebrates grand opening of Hudson office
Wisconsin's Seventh Congressional District is the largest, geographically, in the state, which is just one of the reasons Congressman Sean Duffy opened a Hudson office.
After walking in the annual Booster Days Parade, Duffy, who was first elected in 2010 and reelected in 2012, was on hand to answer questions on a wide range of subjects from the immigration reform bill to appointments to military academies.
"It is an honor to be your congressman," said Duffy in brief opening remarks. "This area is one of the fasting growing in the state and now that the bridge is being built, we will have that many more people moving to St. Croix County."
One of the factors in moving the St. Croix River Crossing Bridge project forward on the federal level was Duffy's intense effort to visit fellow members of Congress and explain the situation to each of them.
Duffy and other staff members welcomed constituents during a two hour open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 6.
The office is located at 502 Second Street Suite 202 and it serves Barron, Burnett, Chippewa, Polk and St. Croix counties. Staff will be able to help you resolve issues with federal agencies.
You may stop by Monday through Friday during normal business hours, although appointments are strongly encouraged. To make an appointment, or for more information, call (715) 808-8160 or email Jesse.Garza@mail.house.gov.
