Crusaders need host families in Hudson area
The Hudson Crusader hockey team is looking for additional host families for the current Junior League season. Host families are essential to the Crusaders, and are an opportunity to help young hockey players achieve their dreams.
The players range from 18 to 20 years in age, and host families are paid a monthly stipend to help cover expenses of taking in someone who becomes an additional member of the family.
A host family must live within the Hudson School District and provide the player their own room.
Members of the host family receive season tickets to Crusader home games and also typically forge a lasting relationship with a player hoping to move to the next level of hockey.
One such player, who has a less typical housing arrangement, is Cody Crouch, a productive goal-scorer shown with the puck, who is from Eagan and since a few weeks into the season has been living with his sister in Hudson.
