Democrats prepare for convention
The Democratic Party is holding caucuses in every county in Wisconsin in anticipation of the Democratic National Convention. The St. Croix County caucus is Sunday in Hammond.
This is the first level of voting for congressional district delegates that will go to the convention in Denver. To run for congressional district delegate, you must submit a delegate intent form with the state party by 5 p.m. Friday, April 4. Then, you must attend your county caucus on Sunday, April 6. Registration opens for the caucuses at noon and closes at 2 p.m., when the caucuses begin.
The St. Croix County caucus is Sunday in Hammond at St. Croix Central High School, 1751 Broadway St.
The Pierce County caucus is Sunday in Prescott at the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center at Freedom Park, 200 Monroe St.

The regular April membership meeting of the Pierce/St. Croix County Democrats is from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight, April 3, at the River Falls Public Library, 140 Union St. The meetings are now scheduled the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.; social time starts at 6:30.
