DNR attempts to curb sex on the beach
People can apparently get away with playing nude on some of Wisconsin's beaches, but officials will draw the line at them having sex in the open.
Wisconsin officials have ignored nudists who in the summer sometimes fill a beach north of Madison, but the authorities are cracking down, now.
Arrests for drug use and sex at the beach on the Wisconsin Rivers near Mazomanie reached new highs last year. Trying to slow down the illicit activities, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says it is going to close down a lot of the wooded area around the beach to prevent the illegal activity.
Nudists say they don't like the plan, but people who use the river say something had to be done.
