For Dr. Kevin Hallman it is a homecoming of sorts. Hallman was most recently with the River Falls Medical Center and prior to that he was with Metro for 13 years. He rejoined Metro in 2013.

“We have nine physicians in the group and we are the second oldest obstetrics group in the state of Minnesota,” said Hallman. “Our forte is complicated issues, infertility and high risk cases.”

Based out of St. Paul for 60 years Metro OBGYN has been on the cutting edge of their medical specialty for years.

“We were the first to do a lot of things,” said Hallman. The list includes the first to use Clomid, the first to use injectable meds for Urodynamics, pioneers in minimally invasion surgery and the first group to do robotic surgery. “We can now do many minimally invasive procedures in the office.”

Hallman is an inaugural fellow in the subspecialty of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Kathryn Grande will be joining Hallman in the Hudson office. She earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, Dallas, a program regarded as one of the best in the country.

“We are very happy to be in Wisconsin,” said Hallman. “We hope to give people a choice.”

Metro OBGYN is located in the Carmichael Professional Building Suite 245, 1610 Maxwell Drive. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, call (651) 227-9141 or go to www.metro-obgyn.com.
