Earl Osborne, 90
Earl Osborne, 90, of Hudson died Monday, Dec. 22, at United Hospital in St. Paul.
Earl was born Sept. 6, 1918, in Moose Lake, Minn., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Osborne.
He was married to the former Loretta Graham on Jan. 3, 1942, in Lebanon, Mo. From this union, a daughter Elizabeth was born.
Loretta preceded him in death in October of 1987.
Earl was a proud veteran of the armed forces, proudly serving as a major in the United States Army Air Force. Earlier, he was also a member of the Minnesota National Guard.
He worked many years as manager for Consolidated Lumber Company in Hudson.
On April 22, 1989, he was united in marriage to Genevieve (Nelson) Wanner.
Earl is survived by his wife, Genevieve; Earl's daughter Elizabeth Moldenhauer and husband Todd of Hudson, grandson Maxwell Moldenhauer, great-granddaughter Alexis Moldenhauer; stepchildren, Lynn (Walt) Ogburn of Stillwater, Lisa (David) Spott of Hudson, Ben (Robin) Wanner of Montana, John Wanner of Hudson and Bill (Kim) Wanner of Hudson; sister, Grace Erickson of Moorhead, Minn.; as well as many step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.
Mass was at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hudson.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service at church.
Burial with full military honors was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Casketbearers were Bill Wanner, John Wanner, Walt Ogburn, David Spott, Gene Harrington and Fred Yoerg.
Memorials are preferred.
