Eat dinner, win Wild tickets at benefit
River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

Take a night off from cooking with the Hudson Raider U-12 soccer teams, who invite the community to a Friday evening (Feb. 6) spaghetti dinner and silent auction.

Tickets for the dinner, from 5-8 p.m., are $5 each; children 5 and younger eat for free. The meal includes spaghetti, bread, salad, drinks and dessert. There will also be a bake sale featuring several desserts. With each $5 dinner ticket, people are entered into a drawing for Minnesota Wild tickets, 13 rows from the glass.

The Hudson soccer teams are also inviting members of the local fire and police departments to attend the dinner free of charge as part of their community outreach.

In addition to the meal, there will be a silent auction with more than 100 items to bid on, as well as basket raffle items. Some of the items are authentic framed and autographed pictures of Minnesota Twin Joe Mauer, soccer great David Beckham and U.S. Olympic Gold Medal winner and soccer player Brandi Chastain.

All money raised will go toward warm-up clothing, equipment, facility rental and tournaments. If you have more questions on the event or want to donate an item, call Tim Grossat (715) 222-6052 or e-mail hudsongirlssoccer@yahoo.com.
