Employers tell governor they can't fill jobs
Governor Scott Walker tells a crowd in Green Bay he is hearing from frustrated employers who say they are finding unemployed workers who would rather collect benefits than get a job.
During an appearance Nov. 1, Walker pushed Wisconsin's jobs portal, which he says currently has 340 thousand positions listed. He says some of those jobs pay up to $70,000 a year, but applicants need the right skill set to apply.
Protestors who tried to enter the event at Lambeau Field Atrium were turned away.
