Eric M. Swanby, 21
Eric M. Swanby, age 21 of Hudson, died June 29, at his residence in Hudson.
Eric Michael Swanby was born on May 22, 1993 to Michael and Leslie Swanby in Hudson, Wis.
He attended Saint Patrick School through 8th grade and then graduated from Hudson High School in 2011. Eric was a former McDonalds Assistant Manager and also worked as a Promoter of local and upcoming artists in the music industry.
Eric had a magnetic personality and the ability to talk to anyone. He always held a positive attitude and a love for everyone. He could have just met someone on the street, and then insist on introducing them to his family or friends. Eric especially loved his family, friends, girlfriend, and his dog. He enjoyed being in their company and never left without giving hugs and saying "I love you". Before Eric would hang up on a phone call with his friends, instead of saying goodbye, he always wished them "peace". Eric was always willing to help with any task or to be a listening ear. He always said he wanted the world to be happy.
Eric held a heightened sense of adventure. His inner-daredevil was released as he enjoyed kayaking, snowboarding, and long boarding. Eric's love for sound-mixing allowed him to share his love of music with others. His passion for music often kept him awake late into the night doing something he truly enjoyed. He liked hunting and fly fishing, and often tied his own flies. Eric's other hobbies included playing frisbee, spinning poi, drawing, and meditating.
