Family Resource Center breaks ground on office remodel
A groundbreaking for the upcoming renovation of the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley was held Wednesday, May 30, at the center's headquarters in Baldwin.
With the help and grants from the members of the St. Croix Valley Home Builders Association as well as the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation, the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley is renovating and remodeling its office. The project will not only improve the office layout and functionality, but will significantly and positively impact the individuals and families the Family Resource Center serves in communities around the county.
The members of the St. Croix Valley Home Builders Association who are donating their time and materials to this project will create handicap accessible entries, renovate the washroom and kitchenette area, as well as improve floor coverings and remodel office and conference areas. Construction will take approximately six to eight weeks to complete.
In the meantime, FRCSCV has temporarily moved to 1020 10th Street (Main), Suite 112, Baldwin.
Funding is still needed for the project. For more information on how to contribute or participate in the renovation, contact either Patty Draxler at the Family Resource Center at (715) 684-4400 or Angela Dockendorf at the St. Croix Valley Home Builders Association by calling (715) 796-5377.
