Despite what he said earlier, Brett Favre now claims to be 100-percent committed to playing in the NFL this season.

Hhe told Greta Van Susteren on the Fox News Channel that he's tempted to apply for re-instatement and show up at Green Bay's training camp in a week-and-a-half.

Favre has insisted that the Packers locked the door to his possible return a month ago and he said he might call General Manager Ted Thompson's bluff.

But in reality, the 38-year-old Favre said he wouldn't go back to Green Bay just to, "stick it to 'em." It's very possible he won't play anywhere this fall, after retiring in March.

Favre said he's not sure if other teams would make an effort to get him and he said the Packers probably wouldn't give him an honest answer about possible trade talks.

Thompson has said publicly that no other teams have inquired about him. Favre said he couldn't envision playing for anybody else but Green Bay.
