River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

Hudson scored 17 points in a two-minute span early in the fourth quarter to come from behind and post a 27-13 victory over Chippewa Falls Friday night, Sept. 13, in Chippewa Falls.

The Cardinals took their first lead of the game, 13-10, with a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter, but the Raiders by taking less than a minute to move 64 yards and take a 17-10 lead on a 6-yard touchdown run by Dayton Diemel.

Chippewa quickly went three-and-out on the ensuing possession, and for the second straight week Hudson’s defense forced a safety on a high snap that went over the punter’s head and out the back of the end zone.

The Raiders took over at midfield and quarterback Landry Otten hit running back Braden Marvin for a 50-yard touchdown and just like that the Raiders had a 27-13 lead.

Hunter Frey had a 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and Kristian Bell kicked a 32-yard field goal early in the third to account for Hudson’s first ten points.
