The Hudson School District has much to celebrate as was evidenced by

dignitaries on hand for the event. Jay Lund, president of Andersen Windows, spoke about the 502 Andersen windows that are in the school -- every one of them being a first of its kind.

Paul Hoffman, president of Hoffman LLC, shared his vision of the power of "G" with the audience and congratulated the community as well as his employees for doing the extra credit required to make the project happen -- from the beginning with civic leaders pushing the referendum to finishing touches on the building.

It is expected that River Crest Elementary School will be the first school in the state to reach the Gold level of LEED certification, the highest level available.
