Graduation moved indoors
The 123rd Annual Commencement at Hudson High School was delayed for an hour and moved from Newton Field to the school gymnasium. The weather forecast was off by a couple of hours, by 8 p.m. when the ceremony started the skies had cleared.
Heavy rain in the mid to late afternoon caused the event to be relocated.
The district, students and parents took the change in stride. The overflow audience could watch the event in the auditorium.
This class started their Hudson school District career in 2000 as a class of 267 students.
Saturday night 405 received their diplomas. Please see the June 20 edition of the Hudson Star Observer for more information and photos from the event.
