Helpline assists women

Dear Editor,

On Saturday, Sept. 5 I competed in the St. Croix Valley Sprint Triathlon in Hudson. I swam, biked and ran in loving memory of my daughter Aubrey who died 19 years ago on Sept. 5, 1990. Aubrey died at the Meadowbrook Clinic in Minneapolis during my abortion.

It was the most horrifying, experience of my life. I seek to bring awareness to abortion regret and the hope and healing that abortion recovery brings to wounded women and men. I am also collecting donations for the River Falls Pregnancy Helpline, which offers all of the help, support, and encouragement that I wanted for myself back in 1990. So far I have raised $800 to help women choose life for their babies. Please consider sending a check to the organization:

River Falls Pregnancy Helpline, 214 No. Main St., River Falls, WI 54022

Your gift will help vulnerable women throughout pregnancy and beyond and save the lives of their children.
