The instrumental music departments of Hudson Middle and High School will present two instrumental music concerts Tuesday, March 4, at the Hudson High School auditorium.
At the 6:30 p.m. concert, the seventh-grade orchestra will perform "Evening Prayer" and "Bach Country Fiddles"; the seventh-grade 1-3-5 Band will play "Serengeti Dreams" and "Sword of the Kings"; the seventh-grade 2-4-6 Band will perform the "Barber of Seville" and "Chester Variations"; the high school Varsity Band will play "Symphonic Number Four" by Andrew Boysen.At the 8 p.m. concert, the eighth-grade band will feature the trombone section on "Lassus Trombone" and the percussion section on "Repercussions." The high school Symphonic Band will play "Awakening Hills" and "Windsprints." The concert will conclude with the high school Wind Ensemble performing "Festive Overture" and "I Am" by Andrew Boysen.
Conducting the middle school groups are Connie Root, Jack Young and Carl Meincke; conducting the high school ensembles are Aaron Hilden and Ryan McCarthy.
