The St. Croix County Historical Society is presenting its third annual History Series, exploring preservation within two communities, Hudson and Osceola.

Dennis Darnold, city of Hudson community development director, will present "Historic Preservation and Community Development" in Hudson at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11.

Pat Kytola, director of the Minnesota Transportation Museum, will discuss "Rivers, Rails and Roads" in Osceola and the St. Croix Valley. The talk is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8.

Both meetings are in the Community Room (Room 212) of the Hudson Municipal Building and library, 911 Fourth St.

Society members and the general public are encouraged to attend these free informative sessions. Guests are welcome to share their stories and artifacts with the group following the programs.
