This Sunday's (Dec. 5) 2010 Hudson Holiday Boutique is expected to have close to 100 artists and craftsmen selling their wares at Hudson High School from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Youth Action Hudson and St. Croix Valley Youth Court and proceeds will benefit programming for both organizations.

Pam Brokaw volunteers with both Youth Court and YAH and will be selling her jewelry at the Sunday sale. Along with jewelry, the sale will include pottery, woodworking, stained glass, home accessories and handmade clothing. "I really believe it is one of, if not, the largest sales of its kind in the area and we really have something to appeal to everyone's taste and gift-giving needs this holiday season."

The sale will include concessions, entertainment and door prizes. It will also include special prize drawings for any student or adult who has taken the "Hang Up and Drive" pledge. The effort is being spearheaded in Hudson by the Youth Court and Youth Action Hudson and to date, more than 400 have taken the pledge to not text or talk on a cell phone while driving.

There is no admission to the sale but those attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items or paper products that will be donated to the Hudson Food Shelf.

More information about the sale and artists who are participating can be found on the Hudson Holiday Boutique Facebook page. More information about St. Croix Valley Youth Court can be found at and on Youth Action Hudson at
