HPD receives Amber Alert Award
The Hudson Police Department and Detective Jeff Knopps were recently presented with the "Amber Alert Law Enforcement Recognition Award" by Wisconsin's Clearinghouse for Missing and Exploited Children and Adults.
Knopps and the department issued an "Amber Alert" on two children who were taken by their father, a non-custodial parent, that led to the recovery of the siblings from a motel in Stillwater, Minn.
