Hudson featured in 'Times' story

Hudson was featured on the front page of the Los Angeles Times Sports Section Sunday, Aug. 23. The story featured the Brett Favre dilemma facing Hudsonites after the longtime Packer signed with the Minnesota Vikings.

Among those quoted in the story, titled "A Town Divided" were Village Inn owner Leigh Halvorsen, Kozy Korner Pizza owner Scott Nelson and Hudson Mayor Dean Knudson.

Former Hudsonite James Hansen (HHS 1960), who lives in Huntington Beach, Calif., brought the story to the Star-Observer's attention and sent us a photo of the page. Hansen wrote: LA has two division leading baseball teams, two ranked college football teams and the Lakers. The Sports page lead story today was about Hudson, Wis.
